Terms
The deal, in plain words.
Last updated October 10, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Michael Liebold, 3113 Wilshire Lane, Oakdale NY 11769, which operates Subsaver. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What Subsaver is
Subsaver keeps a list of your recurring payments and reminds you before they renew and before a trial converts. When a forwarded email or billing page shows a new price, it notes the change. It works from the emails you forward to it, billing pages you paste or screenshot, the statements you import, and what you type in. It does not connect to your bank or your email account, and it does not cancel, pay for, or manage any subscription on your behalf. A reminder is information. What you do with it is up to you.
Who can use Subsaver
Subsaver is offered only to people located in the United States. By creating an account you confirm that you are in the United States and will use Subsaver from within it. We may use location signals such as your IP address to check this, and we may restrict, suspend or close accounts that do not meet it. We make no claim that Subsaver is appropriate or available anywhere else.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to create an account or use Subsaver. By creating an account you confirm that you are. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will close the account and delete its data.
Your account
You must provide a real email address. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for everything done through your account. One account per person.
Forwarding emails
Forward only emails that were sent to you or that you have the right to share. Do not forward other people's mail, bulk mail, or anything that is not a receipt, renewal notice or similar. Your forwarding address is private to you. If you think someone else has it, regenerate it in Settings.
Accuracy
Subscription details are extracted automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. Review what Subsaver finds, especially amounts and dates. A missed, late or incorrect reminder does not change what you owe a provider, and we are not responsible for charges you incur. Renewal dates are our best estimate from the information we have.
Plans and billing
The Free plan tracks a limited number of subscriptions and includes email reminders. Pro and Household are paid plans with more features, and are billed monthly or yearly through Clerk Billing. Prices are shown before you subscribe and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Manage plan in Settings, and you keep the paid features until the end of the period you have paid for. If you downgrade past the Free plan's limits, subscriptions over the limit are paused, not deleted. If something has gone wrong with a charge, write to hello@subsaver.io and we will sort it out.
Text message reminders
Program name: Subsaver reminders. Description: account notifications that tell you before a subscription renews or a free trial converts to a paid plan.
Text reminders are not available yet. When they launch, they will work as described here.
- Text reminders are available on paid plans and are off by default. You opt in by entering your mobile number, ticking the consent box in Settings, and confirming a one-time code we text you.
- Message frequency varies with the number of subscriptions you track, about one text per upcoming charge. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive no further texts until you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@subsaver.io.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We send between 9am and 8pm in your timezone.
- Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties. See our privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use Subsaver to break the law, to send unsolicited mail to our forwarding addresses, to probe or overload the service, or to reverse engineer it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from Manage account in Settings, which removes your data as described in the privacy policy. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we may shut down the service with at least 30 days' notice by email, refunding any prepaid period we cannot deliver.
Disclaimers and liability
Subsaver is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that every reminder will arrive. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for subscription charges, fees or other costs you incur, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Subsaver after that date means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.
